Ibà Foundation is led by a team of capable and committed hands.

The Ibà – Malaria Eradication Foundation also known as Ibà Foundation is a legally registered non-profit organization in Nigeria with mission to combat malaria using several innovations and intervention methods.

Our efforts as an NGO have been recognized by the Commonwealth, The International Youth Foundation, The Master Card Foundation, Makerere University Business School, Yunus and Youth Fellowship Program and by the Carrington Youth Fellowship

Our Mission:
To reduce the number of deaths cause by malaria in infants and mothers to the minimum.
To promote information on the disease necessary for behavioural change and eradication of the disease
To contribute to the discussion and innovation of effective solutions in the battle against malaria

Our Team:

  • Salu

    Is an experienced and an award winning public health advocate. He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan where he studied Forest Resource Management. Salu founded Ibà Foundation because of his experience with the disease while growing up in Bariga – one of the dirtiest places in Lagos State. Salu is a Carrington Youth Fellow and a Social Entrepreneur Transforming Africa Fellow.

  • Dayo

    Is a graduate of Botany from Olabisi Onabanjo University. She was involved in several community development projects under the Millennium Development Goals where she volunteered as an orator and participant in improving child and maternal health, education and many more. She believes that having a great future as a person starts with been positive that you can.

  • Miriam

    Is a Statistician with a zest for data collation, research and analysis. She has BSc. Statistics and has interest in Quality control. She is also an avid reader and interested writer / blogger who is receptive to new ideas as she views such as a path to growth.

  • Anna

    Is a Nigerian-born Ghanaian whose ambition is to advocate for positive change and development in her society. She is an experienced volunteer and hold s bachelor’s degree in plant science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. She enjoys hanging out with friends, baking/cooking new dishes and travelling.

  • Wasiu

    is a Microbiologist, Quality Controller and Public Analyst with many years of experience in analysis and quality control of pharmaceutical products. He obtained a bachelor’s degree (B. Sc.) in Microbiology from the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State shortly after completing his secondary education at St. Finbarr’s College, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. He takes keen interests in mentoring students and younger professionals, with strong emphasis on integrity, and pleasurably volunteers to participate in community development projects.
